Think of a VA like an administrative assistant at a regular office building, except they are working remotely. Duties can include practically any administrative task you can think of – including handling emails, bookkeeping, completing sales, customer service, editing websites, and much more. Specializations in areas like social media management or online ad management is another option.
Create a writer website or blog. A website not only demonstrates your technical ability, but it also creates an online hub that allows clients to connect to you. Keep the design of your website clean and uncluttered. Include examples of your work that demonstrate the kind of writing you do. Make the samples easy to find and to read, and make it easy for visitors to figure out how to contact you. . A blog highlights your technical ability and showcases your ability to write blog posts. Your blog can be about different topics than those you write about for your clients. In fact, it should be on a topic that interests you. Visitors will see that you can not only write, but you can also build an online community. A good blog has the potential to earn you many referrals for more clients.
I worked for sigtrack a while back, they’re a good company but you have to be able to keep a high percentage on accuracy to stay on. The pay is decent if you get enough tags done in a week or more. Pay is weekly via PayPal. If you’re really good at data entry work, following strict guidelines and have a 90% accuracy rate or higher in data entry work, then I highly suggest that job. It is really simple to get hired on as well. From my knowledge, as long as you have a valid e-mail address, a working Skype account to do their verification for employment, and a PayPal account, you can work from there. I recently became a SAHM for my 10 month old daughter. Its been great to stay home with her but we had to cut back on a lot of expenses and I really missed being able to go out for an ice cream or getting a coffee. I am also new to the work from home world but not that new. I have done some work with MCA and SFI. Neither worked for me well. But I am a young stay at home mother of four, all children being 5 and under. And I’m looking for some part time or full time work to support me and the kids. Phone or non-phone is great.
