This is a post I’ve been wanting to write for a long time! In a way it’s a follow up to my post on How to Afford to Be a Stay at Home Mom article. And in a way it is at the crux of everything I write about here at Affording Motherhood. In that article, I noted how the average mother only needs to make up $700 per month in order to afford to be a stay at home mom, after taking out all the costs of going to work.
I blog at Smithspirations where I share encouragement and inspiration for Christian homemakers in the areas of faith, family, and natural living. I’m also a Lilla Rose hair accessory consultant, which allows me to earn income and occasionally get out of the house! A win for a homeschooling & busy mom of 5! If you offer freelance services or have a physical services business, then creating a blog is a must. On your blog you can write about the services you offer and how they will benefit your clients. Importantly you can add a ‘Services’ page, outlining the services you provide, what they include, and any other important information potential clients may need. This is an effective way to promote your services, generate leads, and increase your revenue.

You’ll assess customer’s preferences and create a monthly selection of new outfits for them to try on and buy. For an in-depth review of Stitch Fix, be sure to check out my YouTube video below.
Because lawyers are seeking people who match the profile of potential real-life jurors, online jury companies ask detailed questions of applicants. You should never disclose your Social Security number or credit card or banking info. Companies typically pay $10 to $60 to online jurors. Since most online jury companies won’t need a lot of jurors, signing up for multiple companies gives you a better chance of getting picked for “jury duty.”

That is so wonderful TaMarra. Congratulations! As a mom of young kids, I would love to learn about how to disciple my kids from an experienced mom. I would recommend checking out Kindle Direct Publishing or Create Space. Both are through Amazon and allow you to list your book directly on Amazon either in print or for Kindle. That’s a great place to start. Also, starting a blog is a great way to connect with potential readers that might be interested in your book.

In just over one month, I am reaping the benefits of bringing in income for my family AND learning about a business from the ground up! http://www.keep-collective.com
